so question for you all!
im doing a project about love and marriages in the world and i want to show a movie clip of some sort...preferably a clip of a movie about love/marriage in a culture other than ours. do you guys know of any good ones?
and if you don't know of any movies that focus on love/marriage in another country...any ideas about good ones in our culture? i thought of that clip in the wedding planner when the dad talks about his arranged marriage....something along the lines of that would be okay too.

well hello kiddies!!
i realize it's been about 500 years since i've posted but i just wanted to say hi!!
i am alive! things here are great...i have my big big acapella concert tonight and my parents and all my fam. are coming to see it! yay!
for those of you in the play, i heard it went faaabulously. i'm so sorry i didn't get to see it. :-(
i'm sure all of you shined brilliantly :-)

i SO don't want to go back to school.
it feels like the summer just started, like i just realized that it actually WAS summer vacation and not some really long weekend. and now that i've finally figured it out, we go back to school.
ughhh i don't want this to end. this summer has been so awesome and free and the thought of having to apply to colleges and write an essay and do ap calculus work makes me a little bit nauseous to tell you the truth.

so this week i finished making my cd. it was my 18th birthday present, and it was the most incredible thing i've ever done!
we started on tuesday and finished on thursday. on monday i'm going to staples to get all the formatting for the cover and back done.
i can't even describe how awesome it was to be sitting at a baby grand performing songs that began as pages of my diary and then being able to listen to them as actual songs. it was just, gahhhhhh! a;dkjals;k dfaldsflkjd.
anyways, i'm off to get stuff done. i just wanted to gahh to something.

wha hoo! so this past sunday, me, karina, kimmy, aub, and quinnifer went to see anna nalick and howie day in concierto!! ahh it was so awesomeeee
but the opening girl, missy higgins, gahhh she was so incredible. she came out and just sat at the piano and had the mic right there, and she just sang. it was the most amazing feeling watching her, because it was just her. no one else...no band... no nothing. and all of a sudden, i was overcome with this emotion--like i finally found out what i desperately wanted to do.
a few months ago, i wanted to go do theater, live in new york, become a broadway actress. and now i've realized that that's not me anymore. and i've finally come to the realization that that's okay.
and this livejournal entry lacks any sense of continuity and/or proper grammar. but whatever. i'm happy.

the only prob. is the concert is i think the day before we go back to school or maybe even the day that we go back to school....it would be that night.
